I have a dan Wesson 357 pork chop I believe. there is no model number on the outside by the trigger guard. so I opened up the cylinder and in the bridge it is stamped Model 11-s and has a 5 digit serial number. It is a Dan Wesson DW Pointman Major-C 1911 circa 2000-2001 PRE- CZ. If you collect 1911s it certainly is one you will not find everyday. From what I understand the Majors are made on DW frames. There are Minors that are made on Essex frames. If the barrel is original, it is a Jarvis Barrel. I would buy it if I where in the market for $700 ...8753 posts · Joined 2009. #5 · Jun 21, 2012.
